We are beginning the process of painting the inside white. I do not want to use the wrong thing and it turn out bad. What do I clean walls with? What brand primer and paint? Spray paint or regular paint? What can and cannot be painted? Any help, before and after pics of your painting would be great!

Hi Sassy,
Welcome to the forum! There are a TON of posts on here about painting the interior. You may not have received other replies by now because of that. Your best bet is to use the general search function near the top of the page, then head towards one of the sub categories. You will definitely find what you are looking for :-)
I have a 76 Ambassador ILY, I just painted the inside last year. I used a produce called Wall-n-All to clean the walls, then I used Glidden paint and prime to paint the walls. I didn't want to spend a lot for the paint so I just used what we had left over from when the inside of our house was repainted after a fire we had. Been a year now and it still looks good.
I searched the forums and scrubbed the vinyl then painted with killz. Just FYI, 7 years later the paint is peeling off in sheets (perhaps due to storing in the desert). At this point I'm wishing I made the original vinyl work with the interior design! I kind of have a new appreciation for it. Has anyone gone above and beyond to make sure the paint lasts? I was considering sanding the vinyl a bit just to give the paint something to bite into when i have to re-do it again.
