So, fired up the Suburban NT32 and it's functioning well except for the blower motor which is literally screaming for oil.
Does anyone know how much of the kitchen cabinetry has to be removed to get at the unit for service? I've worked on earlier series Suburbans, but they didn't require major cabinet demo.

Well I figured it out- definitely have to completely remove the stove/oven and then the whole frigin' kitchen sink cabinetry.
Nice piece of industrial design work !
Next step- furnace extraction !

My experience is that if the furnace blower motor needs oil, it is basically shot. I have tried to oil them with no long term luck. How many times do you wish to remove the cabinetry and repair the original furnace? It is 38 years old, has pilot light technology not direct spark ignition, and was made in the years which had recall issues requiring parts which are no longer supported by the factory.
I would replace it. You need to use non-detergent oil on those bearings if you do keep it. My furnace is removable by just removing screws and pulling it out from under the cabinet. If there is thick flooring in the way then you have to remove the cabinet as you found out. The burner log get full of rust and dirt dobers and and wasps build nests in the heat exchanger. Also rust will eventually put holes in the heat exchanger if it has not already.
