Turning the corner/

We are ready to buy our first AS.
We’ve trailer camped with a teardrop for seven years but recognize AS-ing is going to be more technical.
We’ve found a used AS (FC25 RB) that has the floor plan we want.
We’re on the verge of the inspection trip and a question occurred to me:
How can you tell if you can make the 90 degree turn into your driveway?

Is there a formula?
Our driveway is 28’ wide where it meets the road.
Our street is about 14’ wide.
Our street is narrow, two cars can barely get by each other.
It has occurred to me I could get the AS home and then not be able to get it in the driveway.
If I can make the 90 degree turn from the road the rest of the driveway should work.
This was something I didn’t have to think about with a 16 foot trailer.
Any information in this regard will be appreciated.

It can be done. Whether you can do it is the question.

You should be able to do this. We have a 27' and can do something like that, only our situation is reversed - about a 14' driveway and a 28' road. As long as you shade it towards the "inside" of the turn, you should be OK. But don't forget - the back end may swing out 3' - 4', depending on how much trailer you have behind the wheels and how sharply you turn (I'm sure others will provide an exact amount or formula) so you want to be past the center of the road. Just take your time, and if you have any obstructions, keep an eye on them (I speak from unpleasant experience!). If there are no obstructions, ditches, or traffic, I don't think you will have any problems. And with a 28' entryway, you can actually make this a fairly wide turn if you need to - you'll just end the turn a little farther into your driveway.
