Taking Delivery. What comes with a new Airstream purchase?
We recently ordered a 19 foot International Serenity that is set to come in next week. We are currently shopping for hoses and other supplies recommended by posters on here; however, we were wondering what comes with a new airstream? Are any hoses included? Is there a power cord for the electric or must this be purchased separately? What about a sewer hose? Does anyone know what plug-in the 19 foot has (20 amp, 30 amp, or 50 amp)? Any information you all have would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Mine came with power cord and sewer hose. I think the power cord was from the factory, but the sewer hose may have been from the dealer.

There was a short sewer hose in the rear bumper. I bought a longer one (just in case).
There was also a yellow power cord.

Bills, headaches, leaks, loose screws, construction trash in the strangest of places and every once in a while that little pleasure of nirvana that make it all worthwhile.

No doubt it will come with the power cable from the factory, and maybe the dealer will add a fresh water hose and sewer hose.
Soething that you might want to do however is to add a few extras that you may one day be very happy you have with you - I have had to use mine several times!
- a 30 amp RV extension cable in case the one installed on your trailer won't reach the campground receptacle - I had that situation just a couple of weeks ago.
- an extra "white" RV hose for the same reason. It also comes in handy for washing the trailer or two vehicle in parks where that is permitted.
- a 50 amp male to 30 amp female adapter. It doesn't happen often but once or twoce we have landed in parks where the receptacles were only set up for 50 amp plugs.
- an extra length of sewer hose with a coupling to connect the two hoses together - or, replace the short hose that probably comes with your trailer for the longest (and OI would suggest heaviest gauge one) that you can buy. This will allow you to hook up easily at pretty much any site you encounter.
You may carry this stuff around most of the time and not need it but is sure is noice to have when you do need it!
Based on my travels, I would say the item you are least likely to need would be the 50 to 30 amp adapter. I think I have only use mine a twice in maybe 40 years of RV camping! (I got it cheap at a garage sale!)

my dealer included many of the things mentioned :-)
they also included toilet paper which along with a pot to use on the stove, i had forgotten to bring. also, depending on the weather, you'll have to decide if you're going to travel with water in the lines.

Ours came with an "adventure pack" that included an electric cord, a sewer hose, some leveling blocks, a doormat, some chocks (I think), toilet paper, and other random stuff. We were pretty much good to go.

In my boat I carried the toilet paper in a covered pot to keep water and the cat out of it.

Something you should pick up is fuses for the radio and solar panels, power jack, etc. Also, pick up a few bulbs for interior and exterior lights and a small tube of bulb grease.
As far as TP-- remember NEVER put Kleenex in yout toilet. It will not desolve as TP does and could cause a back-up.
