I guess you didn't buy that 2010 Ocean Breeze? I was eyeing it myself, called to inquire and they told me someone had just taken delivery of it the day before. Ugh. Now that it is gone, I HAVE to have it. Haha! I made the mistake of going in and looking at Scott J-24's 27 footer and it made my 19' Bambi shrink...
We ended up with a clean, lightly used 2008 Classic 25fb purchased closer. Unfortunately despite a local Airforum's inspector checking it out I have come across some issues with it that are no fault of the inspector because of the time frame and time of year.
1. The AC drips water into the interior. Only observed on 1 trip. Drain tube seems clear when blowing air into and using shop vac to suck out. Worse case scenario is I have the AC removed and the newer auxiliary drain kit installed.
2. The fridge doesn't cool well when traveling. Only observed on 1 trip. I had the Dometic recall performed and there is extra shielding around the fridge flame. Maybe being blow out too much from winds and passing vehicle. Not sure its resolved. Worse case is I purchase an new 7 cu/ft fridge. The tech who did the recall stated that some fridges for an unknown reason will not cool efficiently while traveling.
3. Leak in water connection near water pump: fixed
4. Converter not putting out 13 volts to charge batteries. Replacing Parallax with multi stage Progressive Dynamics converter
5. Black flush inline one way valve behind shower was broken and when I used the black tank flush for the first time water leaked under the trailer and inside the trailer between the shower and bathroom. Replaced the broken valve with with a elbow fitting. Decided not to use valve as it looked like it could break again in the future.
5. Shower leaked water onto the hall way floor from inside the shower. Plastic flashing wasn't caulked sufficiently on inside shower door frame. PO never used the shower because the manufacturers stickers were still on the shower. I disassembled the shower door and plastic flashing and caulked everything again during reassembly.
At least it doesn't appear to have any leaks in the rear dinette area or the front bedroom area or around the pano windows, roof vents etc after being in the rain for 2 days on our first long trip.
There is no filiform corrosion apparent on the outside skin
I hope the new owners of that 25 FB OB have better luck with these items.
