I want to buy good used 30'? Airstream Houston Texas

I am looking for a good used airstream trailer in the Houston Texas area. Looking for used $1000 - 20,000. any suggestions where to find airstreams for sale around southeast Texas area? Thanks!

I think you'll find that Houston is not a target-rich environment for used Airstreams. Not sure why. When we were looking for ours 4 years ago, there were practically none (we bought ours in Atlanta).

Don't let geography limit your search. There are local inspectors on this board who will do a first-look for you, and you can fly up for a final inspection.

I like the classifieds on this forum (its how we found ours). Personally I don't trust Ebay. Craigslist is OK only to the extent that I can go see it before I buy. Just my opinion.

Hello..You may want to try and get in touch with the two Airstream parks in Texas. Sometimes there are trailers there for sale. Parks are Texas Airstream Harbour Inc (TAHI), north of Houston, near Zavalla and the other is in North Texas Airsteam Community (NTAC) in Hillsboro.

I have a good friend that has a 1964, 30ft Airstream that is all original.

That's quite a range. You will probably end up dropping some bucks into a cheap AS. One thing I would be leary about in older Airstreams that have lived in Houston is corrosion and frame damage the humidity and salt air might have caused.

Actually, I am in Dallas and I am fixing up a 67 Sovereign to sell. As of right now, it is about 80% complete on the inside and the polish job is about 60% complete. I won't be done with it until late Sept, but I don't know what your time frame is.

I have a 05 Safari 30 that I bought new in 06. Just washed it, its Beautiful if I say so myself!!!!
