Some valid points to consider if you have never had an RV. My next door neighbor's father had one of those motorhomes similar to some depicted in this video and from what he described it was in the shop more than he used it.

Did you happen to notice his slam on Toyota? Not sure what that is about.

At time stamp 14:50 is a story about a pusher RV with a broken accelerator linkage in the middle of the coach -- with the wife operating the throttle through a hole in the floor boards, as the husband drove the RV to a repair shop.

They made it!

I am not sure if I just saved $50,000 to 100,000.

As was said in the video it is suggested you need to spend a whole lot more to get a reliable RV. Guess I'm screwed.

Comparing the mentioned problems to the ones most discussed here it seems AS is pretty well built by industry standards.

Actually they are, by comparison. But the whole industry is where the auto industry was in 1980.

That's a very accurate assessment.

That's a scream! My conversation with the opposing lawyer at trial might have gone a little more more like this:

Attorney: "If all you spent was $200,000 for this RV, what did you expect? You didn't spend enough to buy a good one."

Me: "Enjoy this right hook comin' at cha, bud!"

But I have a little different perspective. I had a run-in with an attorney this past February in the court room. Little pip-squeak of a guy. I shoulda decked his sorry beeehind. Jus' sayin'

Exactly, I think he completely undermines himself - there is no such thing!

That and he looks like he just came from a tanning bed.

Nothing new there. RV's are crap and are not designed to be a long term investment. Buy used and make it what you want it to be. The main idea is to separate you from your money not to provide you with a flawless product. You want it to last, forget it. We want you to come back and spend your life savings again and again and again.

Yes I did, "...or God forbid... a Toyota", I think that's the quote I heard; nice comment.

He's definitely a fast talker and the only attorney I've run across to dispense free legal advice. I wonder if his motive is to start some kind of campaign to force RV manufacturers and sellers from rejecting their customers' complaints, a boycott, if you will.

We talked about an RV but the wife was adamant about the AS. I could pick out the color but it had to be an AS.
