Thanks for all your insight. Really helpful.

A little more context- I called over to Colonial yesterday afternoon to ask about a 23FT Globetrotter on their website. I got none other than Patrick Boticelli, who recommended patience with delivery dates as supply chain issues are holding up nearly finished trailers.

My parents drive by there every few weeks. Your observation mirrors Dad's comments of just a few weeks ago. He had remarked that this last time was markedly different than usual.

That would explain why the new trailer parking lot is bursting at the seams at the moment.

Just got this from my Sales rep at AS of Tampa: "Just received a text message from factory rep on your Classic. He said it just released as of this morning, I'm assuming it will take about a week or so before it gets to our lot."

give it time for dealers to receive your orders and do the clean up/repairs before releasing it to you. Be firm and insist that you go through set up and set down training. videotape it if you want.

It took 3 weeks for delivery after completion to a dealer only 4 hours away.

Smile About 3 weeks to ship

We ordered our trailer in June with a delivery date of October 6, 2020. It took about three weeks to get delivered to the dealer. The dealer then prepped it after arrival and made sure everything was good. We picked it up the first week of November.

This likely won't impact delivery by more than a few hours, but the 1-75 bridge over the Ohio River in Cincinnati is going to be completely closed for at least a month to repair extensive damage following a semi-trailer accident that led to an extremely hot blaze that burned at temperatures high enough to melt metal.

Deliveries to points south will have to find another route. Commuters in Cincy will suffer for a while.

Ordered August 30, 2020

we ordered our International 27FBT, late August have a "off line" date of January 29, 2021. I expect to take delivery from my dealer middle to end of February. Don't mind the wait, saving storage fees. will be upset if it pushes deep into April.

We ordered our 23 FB flying cloud airstream July 13 and it was delivered to the dealer around October 20. I know they’re behind on their production but I don’t know by how much.

The AS website now has a banner on delays on the product pages. Not sure how long it's been there.

"Due to high demand, wait times for new products are longer than normal. Please contact your local Airstream dealer to learn about product availability and placing an order."

Delivery Delays from Jackson Center?

We ordered our 30FC RB Twin on 18 July. It was supposed be delivered in November. We are now told it will come off the assembly line in the last week of January and we should see it at our dealer the first week in February.

If you are getting a delivery through a reputable and highly regarded dealer like Colonial agree 100%. Unfortunately our dealer was pretty useless on the so-called inspection on our nearly new (used for 5 days) 20' FC. We went on a checkout stay locally for 2 days and good thing since we caught and repaired several items prior to a long trip. Not only that but due to a dusty parking lot (their excuse) it was filthy even though we paid extra for pre-delivery treatment. We love our Airstream but many dealers suck. When we buy another new AS it will be from Colonial even though it is a very long drive.

We bought our first Airstream from Colonial. When I ordered our second one, I didn't bother looking anywhere else. As a fellow Texan, I concur that the drive is very very very long. Their prices and delivery service quality make it worth it.

What dealer did you go through? I’m here in Louisiana as well and went through the one in MS.

Went through Foley RV in Gulfport. Just sent you a message.

Delivery was last Tuesday and am happy to report that it went smoothly. They did a thorough job and the only concern show up in delivery inspection and overnight stay was a sticky bathroom door handle. They fixed it the next morning.

Our shakedown trip over Thanksgiving went smoothly and are looking forward to getting up to Percy Quin State Park in MS next weekend.
