It
is confusing...because the term "Bambi" when used in the 60's meant it was the smallest model and 16' long. The "GlobeTrotter" was 19' long. Recently, the name Bambi has been recycled by Airstream and is now model that is still small, but very different in fit & finish today from the vintage ones. And as previously mentioned is available in several finish packages - which confuses matters even more.
When speaking of vintage trailers, "Safari" used to mean it was 22' long...today it is a line of finishes & style.
Today, the level of basic upgrades, which are really more
style IMO, are:
Safari
Classic
International CCD
All these have different options & color-schemes available and then there are the special editions like "David Winnick" & " Quicksilver".
