Airstream Increase!!
Just wanted to start a conversation about the future of airstream. I been told for 2017 there will be a 8% increase in the classic. That will put the price at about $148,000. Don't get me wrong I love my classic but I feel this will be my last purchase. I can get alot more trailer for this kind of money.

If 8 per cent is real which I doubt consider yourself lucky as your Classic just became more valuable. The real info will surface next month at the annual AS dealer show. An increase probably, but wait to see how much.

Crazy
There are winds of change in the economy. I'm in the finance business, credit is starting to tighten and the corporate bond market is going to have huge issues over the next couple of years. Too much debt. Raw material prices are not going up to justify Airstream price increases.
By the time they have to actually set the price for next year, they'll be rethinking. These things are luxury items. Wait for the inevitable economy downturn and buy then if you can afford it. Your bargaining power will go way up.

Price increase
Anyone hear of a 3% price increase across all product lines for Airstream?

Anything with labor attached to it is expensive...call a tradesman. The real question, to me, is how long can Airstream continue to build these wonderful trailers. The price reflects 350 man hours and rising material prices.

Will Ohio Factory stay open?
I've ordered a 27' Globetrotter that my dealer assured me would arrive in March. I have a trip planned for May and worried that delivery may slip for weeks or months past March. I have a 23' International and reluctant to sell now and be stuck without a trailer in May. Any intel out there, I would appreciate. Ohio is a covid hotspot, so worried about the factory staying open and also, the supply chain of appliances and materials to keep things moving. Thoughts? Insights?

No crystal ball, but you have a great problem to have. I see no downside in keeping the trailer you have until delivery of the new trailer. Spring and summer are the times when you can command the highest price for your used trailer, and evidently the RV market is still likely to be pretty hot for at least the first half of 2021, if not longer.
