1955 Cruiser

My guess is a 1955 Cruiser. Vintage Airstream - '55 Cruiser

Tim, I'm suprised you need help identifying this coach. It is clearly the extremely rare, much sought after Airstream #7, of which one has ever surfaced.
Okay, seriously, if the inside is in the shape I expect to see it in with all the windows missing, I would offer up maybe $500 for it.

What do you mean close? Do you know what year and model it is?

Terry - I really was looking fot the elusive #9.Michael- are you saying you would like to see Tina in pink? The tub may be extra, let me know how much you are willing to give for it.Bill- as I stated the ID tag by the door has been removed. I guessed it to be a 50s model by other photos. Your 55 cruiser photos appear to be spot on, thanks very much. Interior photos later today I hope they may help with exact model!

Although the ID tag may be missing, there is usually a stamped serial number on the curbside 'A' arm of the frame. Also check the top of the curbside bumper as it may be stamped there as well. Now to find out why there's a chimney stack coming out of the shower area. I also like the door rain gutter turned antenna.

It's the equally rare coal-fired water heater option...
It could be a bathroom vent, but with a vent like that it could vent the whole trailer.

so it may be worth something to "part" out? I just hate to see this thing just rotting away. The door must be worth a few somethings. I think it had a shower in the back where the big azz vent is, but an old Franklin is also a thought!

Yes, it would be worth something to part out. I am looking for two windows.

I did not mean to suggest that it should be parted out, just that if it is, I could use some parts.

It is always better to save it.

California can be extremely greedy when it comes to licensing/transfering. Please physically touch the title and make sure it's close to what this trailer is. I almost made a very big mistake-purchasing without a title in Wa. State. Turns out I would have had to put the rig up for public auction and if I were the high bidder, the trailer was mine...and this was after I would have paid for it. Check with the local DMV and save yourself worry and trouble. VK

Doorgunner-

I love it! Too bad it is so far away. Cruiser or Overland. 1955- 1957? As mentioned the rear stack is a mystery and I was hoping interior photos would have solved that mystery. A CA unit for sure. A fair price to both parties would be $200 - $500 max. Assume frame and axles need replacing, there is no interior, plumbing or electrical. What you do have is a salvagable shell. Does appear to have dents and errosion. As noted no windows and I would bet there are current residents which will require inner panel removal, and all new insulation etc. What a great restoration. I would buy it!

Let me know what you decide.
