Hi,
I am brand new here. I have a 67 airstream ambassador land yacht, and need to give a rubbing to the dmv in order to register the trailer. Can anyone tell me where to find it?
Thanks for the quick reply...any advice on what to do if the plate is missing? I am actually trying to re-sell this, and need to have it titled in my name first.
Do you have the ser# from where you got it,if you do you can get a new plate from Vintage Trailer Supply, take it to a trophy place and they can engrave it. Dave
I have the title, and registration from previous owners, so I do know the vin#.
All you need then is the blank plate from VTS,then get it engraved, you should be able to find a couple or 4 holes to the right of the door where the old plate was.Dave
The VIN often was stamped into the box steel of the A-frame. Probably on the curbside top, just behind the propane tanks. Sorry -- they weren't always consistent with this, so may not be there. Digits were about 1/2" high on my '74 Argosy.
