Used to be six characters but as of this recent legislative session, the number of characters is seven... However, am not sure if the seven is also permissable for vanity/personalized plates...

Be careful of you new, innovative 6-7 letter word. The company contracted to do the plates can take the innovative name and then turn around and sell it as a special plate and then tell you it is already taken. Yup, 'tis true, 'tis true.

Since we added BLUE rope lights all the way around our AS, in the lower extrusion that formally held the blue vinyl...we decided to call it the BLUE HALO...kind of a play on words for a 'fallen angel', perhaps...but really, it's just in fun because we like the blue lights!

My truck is a 2010 Tundra and I put 4782 on my plate-- my AS numbers . Nice and simple.

...and here is mine. No, it's not out of date, it's an old picture.

AZ will let you have a plate of original year issue of the trailer's manufacture date but I'm having a hard time finding one. There would be an initial fee for using it but the personalized plate is an extra $25 a year.

How about using STLA if you want a variation on your name?

Ontario won't do vanity plates for trailers. :/ You gotta wonder why they won't take the money!

Toby was a childhood nickname and after some deliberation (Toby or not Toby, that was the question) we decided it was a cute name for a little Caravel with a variation in spelling to fit its nature as a trailer.

Our 2004 CCD is known as the MOD POD.
We considered FAMNCAN. Our boys liked it so much that they used a variation for their YouTube vlog.

The vlog features a great shot of our vanity plate and the song Airsteam Driver by Gomez.

YouTube - FamInACan's Channel

The vacation vlog came to an end when my son's hard drive crashed and lost two finished videos. Very sad )= They didn't have the heart to keep going. The trip was great though!!!

Thanks for the 'Blue Halo' comments...

Before replacing the lower blue vinyl strip, I noticed the alum extrusion was just about the perfect size for some rope lights...I used a 'U' shaped, clear plastic channel bought with the rope light for most of the mounting - I removed every other pop rivet in the extrusion, to install the channel with new pop rivets - worked great...there's one 30 ft rope light 'run' on each side...

Unfortunately, I don't think I'd get very far on the highway at night with the 'Blue Halo' glowing - I believe 'Blue' is reserved for emergency vehicles only, in most states - and the authorities would probably want to stop us for a friendly chat...

Here is one we have thought about and it might say it all in 4 letters for you...

LAFS (stands for Love At First Sight)

or you could try

WILD (as in Wild Safari)

or

GAEN (pronounced gone) for Gorgeous Airstream Empty Nester

We liked the 1st one best
