pers. license: too much of a cliche'?

OK so now for lack of anything better to do, I'm surfing the California DMV website for personalized plates and wondering if anyone thinks getting this on my trailer would be just too over the top.

Oh I'm so glad...because it was available and I just bought it!! I have to do something while I'm waiting!!

$42.00, I couldn't believe it and other variations of "Silvertwinkie" are available, especially in car nutty CA.

It's fun to type in combinations and see what's taken and what you can get. You can order them online and find out right then and there if you can get it. I thought they'd send me a letter in 8 weeks saying, sorry, your license plate request is taken, blah blah...

Hey Mr. Hut, where'd you live in Northern CA?

I'll take a pic of mine and send when I can. I had a local fabricator make me a new mount so that the plate and special order frame will fit. Don't buy the Airstream license plate mount like I did, the screw holes don't line up on the '67 trailer.

I like it!

After about 10 phone calls, I found out Pennslyvania does NOT allow custom plates for travel trailers. Motorhomes yes, trailers NO. Too bad, I had some good ideas....

What a shame!

California's debt is bigger than all the other 49 put together, they have to make money any way they can I guess.
