Found a 2005, 28 f, International in my local Portsmouth, NH paper. Sent e-mail for pic's and price. Came back with all the right pics and details. Priced at $4,600, so i questioned. Bad phone number, 2 different e-mail addresses from Attica , KS. hmmmmmmm. I have vin # and it was originally sold in San Diego. Seller continues say all is well and only wants $4,600 cuz he has an ill brother. No answer back to my offer of cash if I flew to Witchita from Boston to buy with a clear title. The purpose of this post is to have potential buyers to keep their radar up.

We see that one a lot, on CL or eBay, all over the country. No one would sell a trailer of that vintage for under $5k, but they seem to think that is just cheap enough to get a few hopeful people to take a chance on it.

Same exact ad here in the Hilton Head, S.C. newspaper, $4600. Sent pics to us too. Seems they have a lot of '05 28' Airstreams floating around up and down the coast for small change. I sure hope no one bites! Ad has been there awhile, that has to cost them some $$.

There are quite a few threads on this. Seems $4K-$5K is low enough that a prospective buyer might pay quickly because they think they're getting a wonderful deal.

Report the ad at eBay -- tells you something when the fraudulent sale is yanked very quickly!
