Hull #?
I have a question. What does the Hull # on each Airstream represent? Mine is 17751. Is it a trackable #? the reason I ask is my best friend is a big trekkie and said it would be so much cooler if my hull was #1701 (as in NCC1701 [The Starship Enterprise]).
is this the wbcc #?

Hull # ?
By hull number, do you mean those rather large red numbers located on the front and rear of your trailer, just above the factory placed "AIRSTREAM" sign/logo? If so, that is indeed the WBCCI member number that was assigned to a former owner of the trailer. If you decide to join WBCCI, it is possible to request the existing number and would in all probability be assigned to you if the number is available, or you could request another number and, based on availablity, be assigned your preference.
There are many postings as to the pros and cons of joining WBCCI on this forum. It all comes down on personal preference.
Enjoy your Airstream!

Yep, it's the WBCCI number. A member with current/old WBCCI directories may be able to look it up for you, but it may not have been used in years. Capt. Kirk would be proud of your ingenuity, but alas, somebody beat you to it. Somebody requested that number last year (about 2 moths ahead of me )

#1701 was taken when we signed up, so we went with 1801.
You could also go with #74656 (USS Voyager),#1864 (USS Reliant), #1017 (USS Defiant), or even #1700 (USS Constitution) or #2000 (USS Excelsior), if you are seriously into Star Trek.

It just doesn't look like a real Airstream without the big red numbers, bow and stern.
