How to get a US title for a Canadian registered Airstream?

Hello: We currently live in Canada with our Airstream. We vacation in Fla and are thinking about changing Trailers.
Our Airstream is licensed, registered and insured in Ontario.
We found a trailer in Georgia we are interested in and the dealer has offered us a good trade-in.
However, Georgia dealer wants us to have a US title for our Airstream before accepting a trade-in.
Any Canadians have experience getting a US title for a Canadian registered trailer?

You can't get a US title unless you are living in the US. You can sell it to the dealer but they will need to import it to the US at the time it crosses Canadian US border. You can't import it to the US if it has already crossed the border into the US. A customs broker can handle the paperwork for you and it should not have any duty etc. It is a US made product. Once the Broker completes the importation the GA dealer should have what he needs to get a GA title. This is based on my experience from a few years ago so some things may have changed. Call a US customs broker at the border where you will cross and get their accurate advice.

we bought our 1st as in the USA to import into CANADA
the CND dealer had to change the USA 20A wire with 15A wire !!!!!
why i don't why they had to that, its stupid

thus if you register in the usa, you will likely have to have 20a wire to replace the 15a wiring

NOTE: this is all AC inside wiring
