Airstream in the Wilderness

A friend of mine spotted what is thought to be an Airstream trailer on a western mountain quite a ways from a road, although I think it is actually on an old ranch or hunting trail or old road. He asked me to check with Airstream forums to see if anyone could determine anything about this trailer from the limited info available.

I presume that this is the right forum area to post such a request. If not, I will relocate this posting.

My friend provided the following comments, "This Airstream was discovered on a remote hike. Guess where? It is at about
7,200 feet, in the western United States. It is in a difficult steep place to reach, not possible for anyone to drive here unless they are extremely well set up. It is on private land requiring written permission for access, so no one will be permitted to visit.

Wolf, see if you can get your Airstream buddies to tell us the model and year of manufacture of this Airstream. It looked like it has been there a long time. maybe a dead body inside. I was afraid to look and I ain't goin back."

There's not much info here. Please post any comments and I'll check back. I wish he had copied any info off the build tag or provided more photos. I'll pass along anything this posting generates.

Thanks in advance,
Let's Roll !
