Rvcare Coverage?

I will be picking up new flying cloud in a couple of weeks. Dealer was offering RVcare coverage. Extends coverage for five years. Is this insurance worth the cost in your opinion?

Thanks,

Phil

IMHO....not for a trailer. MH maybe.

Does the coverage include appliances, tires, electrical, running gear, leaks, water damage, clearcoat, vandalism, road hazard?

Check with your TV insurer, see whats covered under that policy. Most all of the non AS equipment carries a better warranty than the coach itself.

I'm not aware of any aftermarket policy that will cover mistakes made at the factory.

Notice the fine print at the bottom of the page, they don't advertise or spell out the "service contract" or what the exclusions may be. http://www.rvinsurancesolutions.com/...e-TTrailer.pdf

Do the research weigh the benefits carefully.

After 30 some years in the Auto field, most of these "contracts" aren't worth the paper their wrote on.

I'm not usually big on extended warranties, either. Many times they exclude the things that really happen, and cover the stuff that never happens. Like, if your air conditioner goes out, you're on your own, but if your Airstream is damaged by renegade camels in Baltimore, Maryland, they've got your back.

These are usually money not well spent.

Extended warranties are a HUGE waste of money.

Most shops will not honor that warranty because what they authorize on the phone, they will not pay for.
