Reasonable Insurance

We are shopping for insurance for our 2011 25FB International. We got a reasonable quote but upon looking at the policy we found they wanted to give us an agreed upon value which was much less than the trailer is worth. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Try the folks at Americas Mailbox. They can pull quotes from several companies. Good rates and multiple choices. 605-718-1234 Ask for Chuck.

Make sure that it is in fact an "agreed Value" policy. When I shopped last year this kind was only done by receipt or appraisal and, I found only a few companies that even offered them to new customers. I ended up with the company on the WBCCI brochure from a few years back- not because of that but they certainly knew Airstreams and used my receipt as the valuation factor with no depreciation as long as the policy was in effect. Some companies will use the receipt but only for so long (up to 12 months-3 years from purchase) then an appraisal is required.
