Res, as others have mentioned, carry a spare. You may have a tire problem on a day or time when stores may be closed in the town you are in. This happened to me in Las Vegas, NM one weekend in afternoon. Just managed to get last tire in size needed! Now always have a spare.

Great info!!!

Thanks 2dabeach for the heads-up about your 2007 25' FB trailer that came with a spare tire mounted under the front of the trailer and to you PatLee that your 2019 25' Int'l twin that has a spare stored underneath at front end. Same to you oldenavy that your FC 30' came with a spare underneath.

We have yet to pick up our AS from AS of Virginia, and can't call today... Christmas!! But will call tomorrow to see if we too have a spare. Don't recall that point being mentioned, but it was a lot to take in looking at about 6 different models in one afternoon!!

As yes I did shop around, including Colonial. Looked online & called 20 AS dealers to get prices on a comparable model. Didn't find the exact one at any other dealer as we have 2 solar panels & window awning package.

Check into insurance that will your original cost for the first five years. I got hit in a hail storm in May, $55,000 damage to my 2019 International Serenity. Had to take to factory for an entire aluminum replacement-5 weeks repair. Once an Airstream is damaged over 75% of its current retail value, it is considered a total loss, mine was about $6,000 away from that. I was not insured with that type of coverage, but a standard policy with State Farm, which paid entire cost. Original Replacement cost policies are normally twice the cost, a consideration is finaced. The biggest threat is collision, theft, hail.

Check your TV and RV insurance. Often that roadside stuff is included in their policies for very low prices
