Newbie Insurance Question: High Quote $1400/Year?

Need some help understanding if this insurance quote is reasonable.

Working with my insurance broker he quoted me an annual premium of $1400 on a 2021 Flying Cloud 23FB. Total loss replacement with $2500 deductible.

$1400 seems high, but maybe it's not.

Any guidance on whether that is a reasonable annual premium?

Thank you!

A general rule of thumb is that insurance will run about 1% of the value of the item being insured. And then vary from there based on other factors like location, credit worthiness and on and on and on. You should shop all of the various insurance companies mentioned repeatedly in the forum. Personally I have found the best rates through the insurance folks at Americas Mailbox. They get quotes from multiple companies and I shop for insurance every year, spend time hitting the big players, and AMB always wins with one of their suppliers.
