Since yours is a 2013 brand new unit, wouldn't you want to use invoice paid as your value?

Most of us have older units that value much more than the NADA values, so it's better to go to a A/S dealer and have them sign a statement that includes all your extras noted.

I searched many a forum thread regarding this and the insurance issue and finally got started on the procedures for an agreed upon insurance policy through Farm & Country (FCIS). I started my appraisal hunt with I-VAN.org but never heard back from anyone so after much more running around (on the phone) I finally found someone who will give me an appraisal on my 1977 trailer. www.pinnacleautoappraisers.com According to FCIS they will accept them as our appraiser and after getting more details from the appraisal co. themselves I feel better about how they will handle my 'rare' rear door trailer valuation. Hope this helps others.

Pinnacle appraisers worked with me very well. I opted to send pics to them rather than having them come out to take their own pics. They talked extensively to me regarding the trailer and even what I needed the appraisal to come in at to cover my expenditures. They had a difficult time finding comparables since the Argosy rear door is rare but still gave the insurance company what they needed to satisfy them for an insured valuation. I was very pleased with the company and the appraisal was professional and timely...I do recommend them without pause.

Jim Polk is the appraiser we have used. He was responsible for our very favorable insurance settlement when our 69 was broadsided and he appraised our 68 Ambassador that allowed us to obtain a "replacement" policy. We highly recommend Jim.
