Insuring your new Airstream

Hello Folks!

I just received a call from my Airstream dealer that our 16' Bambi has just a arrived at the dealership! We ordered the rig in October and weren't expecting arrival until late March or early April.

So, I am now looking for the best insurance company and the options of insuring our first RV. I got one quote from our State Farm agency and it came out to $600 plus annually. I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest, but a policy that covers the basics and then some.

We found by far best rates and coverages with Mercury.

Ended up combining with a new 2020 HD which saved us over 50% over the others. This was through a Credit Union.

The Mercury charges were not always equal between other agents / brokers.

After checking AAA, Progressive, Allstate the rule was is to just shop around.... quite a difference for same coverages.
