Insurance cost for 19' Bambi
I am about to get my Airstream finally in about a week but I have to get it covered by insurance how much does it usually costs around for the year. What type of insurance title is givin to the Airstream.and what type of insurance should i get to have the cheapest but the best coverage i can get.I just got one yesterday from AIG and they are going to charge me around $55.00 a month.Doesnt that seem really high?I just needed something for the moment so i can finalize the deal. Now i want to see about getting a better insurance deal.I really need some help on this from all of the Florida owners here please.Thanks.

Congrats on the Bambi. I just got mine less than two months ago. You're going to love it. I'm not from Florida, but I recall reading in another thread the insurance rates were unusually high in some urban areas. I got mine through State Farm at $366 per year with a $250 deductible, and covers full replacement cost.

Progressive ...
Devoman,
Give Progressive a call & solicit a quote. They have quite a comprehensive package.

That is very similar to what we had with our Bambi and State Farm...of course the Safari is a little more, but not much.

Devoman - are you getting a new bambi? Rates would be dependant on age....

$234 for 6 months. That's comprehensive / $150 deductible, (we live in hail country) Collision / $500 deductible (that's for vandelism) and towing. It more than paid for itself when a thunderbumper took our awning south on the last Airstream. Almost needed the towing. But with the twin axle on the old Safari, just pulled off a flat without need ing to jack it up and drove to town on three wheels. No claims with the Bambi (knock on wood).
