Yes I agree covered storage is fantastic. We are lucky enough to secure a rental covered storage about 16 miles from our home for $190/month. Unfortunately, we got our hail damage while on the road - happened out of the blue on I77 near Hillsville, Virginia. 3 minutes of terror, but thankfully nobody hurt...

I know the feeling. We were in east Texas (Bullard) a few weeks back watching a tornado and hail tracking just south of us. Luckily, it stayed south.

And after almost $20,000 and 2 weeks at Jackson Center…They replaced all the front and end cap sections plus a complete roof overlay. Looks soooo much better. Thanks to Jackson Center and Progressive Insurance!Click image for larger version

Smart Choice... lipstick on an Airstream

A full solar system would be less than the cost of replacing the white roof panel, it would cover up most of the damage, and you would have a great solar system to boot.

As long as the sides are not hammered by hail... this is a smart option adding Solar. The Title may have it as Salvaged or something like that.

Hail is not a once in a lifetime occurrence. You are playing Poker with Mother Nature.

Lightning never strikes the same spot... but two feet... is close enough.

Take the cash settlement. Use the Airstream. Have a great story to tell when sitting around with other Airstream Owners. If it is totaled.. negotiate a price.

If you wanted to change to a different model or year... then decide as this may be your opportunity.
