One would hope so!
Local insurance agencies are a dying breed, like local newspapers and stationary stores where you buy the [disappearing] local paper. The only way they can survive is to be profitable. If we vote with our [lack of] patronage, they too will disappear -- to our detriment IMO.
Saving a few bucks by going agent-less may be a false economy IMO.
Our local insurance agent saved us
many thousands of dollars after our tow vehicle van was totaled in a rear-end collision [our insurance company had made some math errors, and was chintzy in their evaluation process].
YMMV
Good luck,
Peter
