Fcis

Anyone familiar with FCIS RV insurance that’s affiliated with the Wally club?

FCIS Insurance

Yes! When we purchased our 2019 FC 25 RBT a couple of months ago I called them for a quote. We did purchase insurance with them as Progressive as the provider. Very good rate. More recently we had them quote our auto (2013 Ford E150 van, 2014 Cruze, 2006 Miata) Motorcycle (2010 Vespa 300 GT) and our homeowners policy. We shifted all of our insurance to them. Auto and home with Safeco as provider and Vespa with progressive as provider.

We saved close to $300.00 annually on auto/home and $20.00 annually on the Vespa. Easy to work with and very professional.

We had our previous Airstream (2017 Int. Serenity 23D) and Vespa insured through Progressive. The rate for the same coverage on the 2019 FC was almost $300.00 less. I think maybe my local agent may have been padding there wallet.

The auto/home were with National General.

When we lived in Naples, Florida we had to shop our insurance every year The first year rate was always a "Teaser" rate. Second year it would go way up. Now we shop every year. Next year I will do the same and compare again.

Their quote to me was higher than my local Progressive agent.

One would hope so!

Local insurance agencies are a dying breed, like local newspapers and stationary stores where you buy the [disappearing] local paper. The only way they can survive is to be profitable. If we vote with our [lack of] patronage, they too will disappear -- to our detriment IMO.

Saving a few bucks by going agent-less may be a false economy IMO.

Our local insurance agent saved us many thousands of dollars after our tow vehicle van was totaled in a rear-end collision [our insurance company had made some math errors, and was chintzy in their evaluation process].

YMMV

Good luck,

Peter

We have been using them for years, and have not had to file any claims. But they are cheaper then any local agent I got quotes from. And they will also do stated value policies so I know what I will get if I total my Airstream. This is important because 'blue book' value on Airstreams are wrong. Shop around it is worth the time and effort. They also say you get a 10% discount for being a WBCCI member.

The quote I received was with Safeco as the actual insurer. Anyone have claim experience with Safeco?

Get a quote from the team at America's Mailbox in Rapid City. Year in and out when I get quotes from all of the players their rates beat the others.
