Appreciate all tips and advice.

I use Farm and City Insurance in Forest City, Iowa (home of Winnebago). They broker for Allied Insurance. I've had good service from them, they accept my premium payments with no hassle.
They do require an appraisal to get a fair determination of the agree value.
I've had one claim with them and they covered my damage with no hassle.

Thanks to all. Progressive just agreed to write the Airstream at agreed value (Bill of Sale required). After 10 years, it would revert automatically to an actual cash value policy. I currently have my cars and TT insured with them. Agreed Value of $20K @ $407/year.
Seem fair?

As others will probably note, a lot of insurance matters depend on the state in which the policy is written.
I currently have Progressive as the issuer of our agreed-value policy, but I use an agent to go through this renewal every year - Ron Jarvie at Overland Insurance:

He was recommended by another Air Forums user and he's been extremely helpful.

Farm and city also has progressive ins. and agreed value. Any agent in my area of Il. could not write or refused a policy for progressive, plus all my ins. except AS is with country Co. they wouldn't write agreed value for AS w/out appraisal they only use one appraiser that has been out of bus. for yrs.

Was able to obtain Agreed Value thru Good Sam - written by SafeCo. Perhaps that's helpful to other AS'ers

Make sure your "agreed value" policy is actually agreed value. Just because your local agent tells you it is, is no guarantee. Sometimes the local agent and underwriters understanding of agreed value are not the same.

Good point. Does the new policy include an appraisal of current market value, or does it explicitly state this dollar amount?
