Seems too high for the year unless it is an exceptional unit. Seller has never sold anything on Ebay and may be just fishing. No pictures is a bad sign. There are some problems with units coming out of this era. I have a 77 which has seen its better days.

I emailed a request for the seller to send me photos of the unit. We will see soon, one way or another.

25 ft caravanner

I am not aware of a 25 ft caravanner, It should be a trade wind, The lack of pictures would also make me lose inrerest. Not to mention the fact that there was no real description of the trailer, Gook Luck

The 70's Caravanner was always one of my favorite models. Sort of like a big Safari layout with lots of windows. A 2-person trailer, with less storage than a tradewind, but with a very nice interior for two people. They are relatively rare.
It's hard to tell if it's worth anything, especially without any pictures and a utter lack of description.
I would simply not bid on it, based on the information given. ( Or lack thereof)
The price seems reasonable to me for a unit in good condition, unless the reserve is much higher than $8000.00

The seller finally responded to my question. He says the trailer is his grandfather's, and he is selling it for him. He says he will try to get photos for me, and offered to give me his grandfather's phone number, so I could talk to him in person on the phone. I am still skeptical.

Bidding has ended, no bids. Good example of a bad listing.
