Where would I find a post on Airstream Year Model Changes?

like - What years did they step down from 13 panels to five?

When did they have the blinds style windows?

I'm assuming that there is a detailed thread for stuff like this, but I'm having 0 luck finding it.

Thank you

There is no thread that I know of with that information. But, Vintage Airstream Home has a lot of answers to this type of question in the FAQ section.

Well, Cursh, I can help--a little. My '57 Flying Cloud was made late in the year and they had changed from the 13 panel to 7 panel sometime in the model year. No help, huh?

Blind style windows? Do you mean Jalousie windows w/ multiple glass panes that cranked out horizontally on a track and they all moved as one? No, I don't know when they put them in Airstreams but you're a little farther ahead than you were.

Someone who knows will pin it down for you.

Sweet - Someone is selling a "68 22 footer" that is most definitely longer than 22 ft (but is still single axle) and has 13 panels. It has Jalousie windows. Interior is non original.

My guess is that someone picked up a title to a 68 22 footer to get the thing registered and that the new owners aren't privy to the difference.

i was just confused as all get up by the ad and figured i would do some digging here (but left my search shovel apparently, because I didn't find much)

Thanks for all the help. With the correct name for those windows I'm sure I'll be able to dig up more with search =)

Here is a picture of it. Very odd.

Its not an Airstream, could be an El Rey.

How much does the seller want and how much do you want to pay?

Appraisers say that market value is determined by a willing seller and a willing buyer.

I'm not all hot and heavy over airstream like some people here. The trailer looks to be in fantastic condition with a lot of recent attention to making it camp-able.

I offered $4500

I'll see what I can do to save weight when replacing the interior.
