I have been lurking on the forum for a while now and I am almost ready to spring for a Bambi 19'. Maybe new, maybe used? I have watched asking prices for used Bambi's on the forum and they seem pretty high compared to what all the RV PRICE GUIDES show. What is a fair price for a late model Bambi 19' ? Looks like I can get a new one for $26000. $33,000 less 20%.
What year model are you looking for? With gas prices and the fact that the newer SUVs can't pull alot, and a smaller trailer is easier to use as a weekend get-a-way, alot of people are after the 20' and less trailers. The Bambi has a special draw to it for whatever reason, thus the reason the prices are higher. The RV price guides do not take that into account. This is just my perspective on it all.

Good luck, you won't be dissapointed.

Rob,
I thought the RV Price Guides were based on actual sales?

........ condition, condition, west coast values are way higher on 19ft and 16ft bambis.....they are just not around too often and command high prices.....Airstream prices on new ones continue to climb with the price of materials to make them.....
We have been selling Airstreams for 40 years now and one thing we have learned is with used Bambis the book is not even close to being right. A 2001 bambi in the Sept-Dec 2005 NADA guide says retail is $13,900. In real money that trailer would sell closer to $22,500 to the right person. Year plays very little in the value of a late model bambi. A 2001 and a 2004 generally will bring the same amount of money. One thing is for sure, they go fast. I have sold three in the past 5 months. I will generally have one sold before it even arrives at the dealership. I keep a running list of what people are looking for. I have yet to see one last longer than a week on the lot though.
