Belonged to owners parents and she is a very reluctant seller....after multiple visits over last year, she is willing to consider an offer. Trailer is close and I would do self restoration to original. I have restored wood boats and cars so know the drill. Am considering an offer of $10,000 to $12,000. Is this fair/reasonable? Not looking to make a profit but don’t want to be “upside down” in project. Any thoughts/advise? Thanks, David

IMO> at any price you'll start out upside down. If you carry through and finish a restoration or a renovation it will be worth more to you than to anyone else. 99% of the time this kind of work is a labor of love, not a way to make $.
My advice> only if you really want it, offer a lower price and work your way upward.
