Toying with the idea of selling my baby , 1972 Sovereign

Kids are older and just not into camping anymore, so thinking of down sizing. Really torn on this one, as it's so hard to find late 60's or 70's trailers in Cali and don't want drive hundreds or thousands of miles ..just don't need the extra space now .
So Cal trailer for entire life with 1st owner
I've owned for 4 yrs and done quite a few upgrades..
new axles and tires, with a slight lift
New on demand water heater..really nice
New power converter
New water pump, no leaks
New custom made Click image for larger version

ID:	280844twin beds, very comfortable
New gaucho
Original carpet but new luxury under felt
Still needs new furnace , I wasn't going to bother
Needs new fridge, original works just!
Needs polish too
Original AC works
Original interior like new .. truly remarkable, beautiful time piece.

Things to fix... two leaks that I can't find and new window seals.

Flooring is sound as spent life in so cal desert., Rancho Cucamonga near Riverside.

Any thoughts on what this worth ? Thanks

Thumbs up

California markets can probably take an asking price of 19900. Polish it if you can, cosmetics make a heck of a pricing difference down there.

Don't sell. Grandchild will be born 6 months after you do. Kids will want to introduce the grands to camping, but won't have the money to buy anything but tents.

If they head to college the Airstream will become your hotel when you visit
... and the cool tailgate vehicle at homecoming.

Spend some serious time in your downsized choice before you sell.

I've known a few down sizers that regret this decision.
