Selling 2018 AS Classic
Currently have my AS 2018 Classic 30RB up for sale. I have it on AS classified and RV trader. Anyone know of other sites to sell it on? I’ve checked NADA, and viewed others for sale. Listing it with a bunch of extras. Just wondering if I’m asking too much?

What are you asking, and with what extras?

With no modifications likely 25% under MSRP. Recouping taxes paid on initial purchase will be a no go. Buyer can get a new one for 20% under msrp - so you’ll need to price under that.

According to the AS website, MSRP on a 2018 AS Classic 30 begins at $150K. 20% off that is $120K. You're asking $112.5K, which doesn't seem ridiculous to me, although apparently you're not getting responses, which should provide you with reasonable feedback. Remember that the RV season is over, so it's a buyer's market, and RVs will need to be discounted more now than a few months ago.

My experience is last-year's model, used, starts 25% off, except for unique versions. Have seen several 30% off when desiring to move them. So your price seems reasonable.

By rgentum’s calcs, you’re only offering $7500 off the actual purchase price of a brand new 2019, and you’re doing it out of season. By Spring, your coach will appear even older. Over $100K is a lot to lay out for a used rig! So yes, I do think you’ve priced it too high.
On the other hand, depends how long you want to wait. We determined that the “right” asking price for our 2009 International 28’ with lots of extras was approx 63K. So we listed it at 55 and got six offers the first day. We took a 10K deposit to hold it until we could get together with the buyer four weeks later, he put down another 25k upon viewing but not inspecting and we closed after two solid days of inspecting and indoctrination. In the intervening four weeks we had 20 inquiries and eight more offers, including four people who offered to pay well over asking price.
So, a number of factors...including especially that as the price goes up, the number of potential buyers is a narrower group—more people able to but at 50 k than at 60, and more people able to pay say 95k than 112. But you have another challenge:lots of nice brand new larger Flying Clouds or Internationals can be had NEW for well under 100k. I think that’s the psychological stumbling block that you’re facing.
In the other hand, it only takes one buyer to sell!
Good luck!

You can also post it at "Airstream Hunter" on their Facebook page.
Good luck with it!
