Sell or trade???
Thought I might sell my '71 27' overlander and buy a latter model in the 80's. Can't work on my AS where I live! Needs some cosmetic repair but then they all do.
Not so easy. Been hunting on the Web and I havn't found much for what I am willing to pay. Any suggestions. Just completed a 3000 mile round trip to Tx so it is road worthy.

How about posting a notice in the classifieds section? That's what it's here for...you'd be surprised at how many people check it out!

Whats to be sorry about?
I think its great that while you sorta long for a new rig you still remain faithful to the one you have. Better play it safe and buy two......

General Disarray, I was asking $6200, but begining to question that. I may raise the price to $7200 considering what I see on the market. Have you checked the prices of Pop-up trailers. See large ones for almost $10,000. Been there done that. Never again after poping 5 tires on trips. (sad)

Ahhhhh the new car syndrome.
Sell classic old coach in good condition for $6500. Buy newer coach in good condition for $25,000. In five years where will you be with the new coach?
Where will you bee with your old coach if you put $3500k now and where you will be in it in five years?
To start with you will be $15k on the positive with the older coach and both needing about the same work.

I respectfully disagree. In five years the newer coach should still be worth between seven and ten grand more than the older coach. And aside from regular maintanence, I can't see the newer coach needing much work in five years...it's more of a guess on the older coach.

To be or not to be......
.....that is the question! Guess it depends if you like antiques. My overriding situation is that I don't use it much. Thirty days at SPI in Jan. How much $$$ should I have laying around in storage, besides wife hates it dog loves it. Perfect trailer.I have seen some good buys and I think that I should buy one that is a steal and then sell the old. What can I tell you I'm cheap,cheap...... I like working on it but no place and it's damn hot in there now..... Az. land of the UFO's Tom
