Overlander vs tradewind

I am comparing a 76 overlander to a 74 traidwind... Both are in about as good shape the overlander a little better shape outside and about $1000.00 less... plus 900 miles closer. the tradewind has 4 awnings on it though...

I am wondering what would be in your opinion the better trailer for pulling and all around better use and practicality? both have the similiar floor plan with the double bed that pulls out + the goucho.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated since this will be our first A/S...

Thanks!

I'd go with the Overlander. Of course, I'm biased.

Seriously, they're both so similar it comes down to weight. Is the extra weight of an Overlander (and that's not much) worth it?

Hi Perfetto,
we have had 3 tradewinds (74,71 and 75) and now an Overlander... I LOVE that extra two feet of living space the Overlander has. We originally wanted nothing longer than 25 ft for ease of towing and being able to fit in California State Campgrounds (they say that many campgrounds do not have space for trailers longer than 25 but we have found people fitting 30+ ft) but now.... wouldn't give up the Overlander for ANYTHING )))
