Newby: Determing Value of '69 Overlander

Hello and greetings to all on these forums!


Glad I found y'all. I am a complete newby-- I was just gifted with a 1969 Overlander and would like to get a starting ballpark estimate of it's value. It was completely gutted and rebuilt 18 years ago but has been sitting outside in a wooded area with no maintenance since then. Renovations included ceramic coated wall and ceiling panels, stainless steel shelving and desk, ceramic burners, electric which still works, and more I will post pictures shortly. It was built for someone with chemical allergies.

I'd like to sell it but don't have the expertise to get it road ready.


Any idea on the rough value, even if it's a wide range from low to high?


Would it be worth it to get it assessed? What are the simple things I might do to increase value? I'd like to get it ready and sold sooner rather than later.

I paid $4000 for mine, in need of a complete overhaul. You could always start high & reduce the price if it doesn't sell. I had trouble getting $2500 for a fully redone 1971 Argosy about 15 years ago and wish I hadn't let it go at all, but campers went way up with covid. I bet you could get $10,000 easy as is. Clean it up the best you can.

Hi,

It's not a full monte (shell off) but the entire inside down to the shell is out. The floor is next- lots of water damage in both ends, plus shell separation in the wheel wells. Sorry, I didn't find a way to attach pictures but it's not much to look at right now.
