That is a very hard question to answer. There is a forum here that goes into detail and provides a check-off sheet to evaluate some of the potential costs of repair. Do not hesitate to pull up edges of carpet and inspect for hidden problems. Alot also depends on how long the trailer has been out of use. Good luck with your new adventure.
Thank you, I only got a look from the outside while traveling through Del.I might go back and do a full inspection. They went fro $3500 to $2700 and now $2000.It is part of a estate sale.
We got a 27' 1978 Argosy that looked great but ended up putting over $4k in it. If I had to do over again I would figure that all the appliances do not work or are ready to be replaced and the AS leaks and the leak needs to be found and repaired (can be spendy). So if they are now asking $2k add another $4k (low ball price figure). We lucked out and the axels and brakes were good as was the floor. We repainted it and that sealed any leaks. So go figure what you can put into it and then go in and negotiate from there. jjustice Good luck
