Need Help Pricing my 97 Safari

First I want to say how much I enjoy this site and just how useful its been!

I have decided to part ways with my 1997 Safari 25B. I purchased it 6 years ago and did an almost total renovation. At the time of purchase I had 1 kid... now I have 3 and its seen almost no use in the time since the Reno.

It has new tires (<200 miles), new Atwood cooktop/oven. All the systems have been maintained. The axle bearings were repacked <300 miles ago. Replaced the subfloor. Propane tanks are were replaced during the 2016 Reno. It has a functional 2 panel solar kit, all lights I replaced with LEDs... We use as 'bar' for the property...

I just have no idea what to ask. It isn't a new trailer... $20000, $25000, $35000?
I'm happy to provide more details. Just didn't know if you all might have a rough idea to start with.

Any help would be appreciated. I should have it all sparkling for Friday and hope to post it officially then.

Do you have photo documentation of the subfloor replacement? I think 35k Might be a bit high but not a lot. 20k is definitely to low if you are selling a trailer that is 100% maintained and ready to roll.

Thanks Peter!, I do have pictures of the subfloor replacement - attached.

Also I happen to be have been a corian (Dupont) solid surface installer so all the counters, areas around bed and table and the entire bathroom (floors, shower, ceiling and walls) are completed in glacier white corian.

The frig, ac and heaters are original.

The Reno is a few years ago - I'm thinking around $27,000 and see what happens.

I'm in NH... beyond a classified on this site... should I do Craigslist? I hate all the crud call on Craigslist... but might chance it.

Hi

As crazy as today's market is, with a trailer that is "ready to go", I'd price it high and put in a note about taking a "best offer". You just don't know how desperate somebody may be.

Indeed, you *will* attract a lot of scam offers. Sorting those out is an unfortunate pare of the process these days.

New replacement for a Safari 25B equivalent is around $100K, with potentially an extended wait time for availability. In my opinion, like new condition, available today, puts your rig in the $50K zone. Best of luck..

I suggest you stick with AS site and RV Trader. Try $35k, you can always come down some.

Beautiful looking reno!

I would go ahead and try Craigslist in addition to Airstream classifieds - I used Craigslist for 2 SOB's, the last one 5 years ago, and got maybe one sketchy inquiry which I told to show up in person with cash or don't bother

Make sure that your personal contact info doesn't show up in the ad - had that happen to a neighbor, there was a link in the description that when clicked gave his address. And clearly state no 3rd party shipping, etc etc, you know the drill....

I had 3 buyers lined up in order of when they contacted me - 2 of them said they were happy to find a trailer that actually matched the pictures and an ad that was truthful! Go figure...

That picture doesn't show a new subfloor. It shows 1/4" plywood over subfloor and cut around existing cabinetry. These are original cabinets, just refreshed or cut for the stove, correct?
All of the systems are original? Water heater, axle's, air conditioner, furnace...etc?

May be just me, but $20k seems to high for this, being 24yr old with some cosmetics done.
Good Luck to you

If you discuss it a while longer here somebody may make you an offer on this thread :-) folks seem a little desperate right now and prices are a little high. Represented honestly and see what the market will bear.
