Loss of rear storage locker?

I own a 2017 RTB Flying Cloud and it has fit our needs extremely well. We love it. I was at the dealer last weekend and wanted to check out the new 2019 25 ft FC and also the 2019 26 ft RTB FC. I was amazed to see that the rear storage locker above the rear bumper is gone! They have added a smaller hinged storage compartment in the front above the battery compartment, but it is smaller and far less accessible. Plus wouldn't items stored in that locker add tongue weight? It certainly made me reconsider buying a newer model, although the 2019 has a couple nice new features.

Just curious to see if others have noticed this and if they happen to know why the rear storage compartment has been removed?

You were probably looking at at front bedroom twin model. Also, queen models don't have the outside storage, instead the bed lifts up.
