How do I sell this 1973 Tradewind

https://www.airforums.com/forums/f44...ab-143656.html

Hi Folks

I would really appreciate the advice. How do I sell an Airstream like this? I did all this top notch work on the trailer and due to health and some consequent lifestyle changes I have only used it once, for about a week in three years. The work is brand new. It has remained parked inside the trailer “barn” that I built for it.

Obviously this is a special trailer. I hope some of you that have seen the build could give me some advice and direction on how best to get this Tradewind in front of folks who are looking for a trailer like this.

This trailer has been professionally appraised.

Many thanks in advance.

Tony

Nice looking rig, Tony. I am confused, why not just post an ad in the classifieds?

Get it appraised. Polk and associates.

Then sell based on what percentage of appraised value you want.
List everywhere you can. It will sell

I guess the reason I didn't go straight to classified is I felt maybe the type of trailer it is needed a more niche selling venue. But you are probably right just start off there and maybe hit some Craigslists.

Polk did appraise it at $73.500 in 2016. I am going to be asking $62.500

I am hoping that is a fair price. I don't want to hurt anyone -- including myself.

I appreciate your input. Any other venues to list would be great to hear about

I think you are low, why go lower than appraisal which doesn't take into account the increase in value. Looking at what you did, $80 sounds like a fair starting price. They aren't make more of those.

That is what I am talking about I just don't know the market. I guess I can be guilty of not knowing the full value of my work.

Thanks
