Helping a friend, '00 Safari 27' value?

I have an older friend who is selling his 2000 27' Safari-mint condition due to wife's health condition. He is the original owner. Garage stored. NADA said $36k. He thinks that's too high. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Not too long ago I sold a '01 25' Excella for 23ish, it was nice, but wouldn't say "mint". Hope this helps.

Basically, anything used is worth exactly what someone else will pay for it.

Take a look at the classifieds here and that will give you a good idea what folks are asking for trailers.

edit: We re-read NADA post, (he doesn't have internet) that appears to have been the original retail price. We don't see comparable 2000 27' Safari's for sale on-line right now. Opinions welcomed.

EBAY is another good reference....not what people are asking, but what people paid. You can look up past auctions there.

You want a guess? I'll say something around $20,000 is quite possible. Of course, the usual disclaimers apply: every area is different, condition may drastically affect value, not valid in states where forbidden, etc.
