I am really going to have to watch for this re-run. I assume I get the channel if I have the kind of cable that gives me HGTV ....

Speaking of HGTV, I think they do great work on most of those shows, and I especially enjoy "Designed to Sell," where Lisa LaPorta has really unusual ideas AND the hottest carpenters on TV (Steve Hanneman & Brooks Utley) ... but they have that contrived time crunch before the open house that drives me nuts because, even when they're employing the best camera angles during the reveal, I can SEE sloppy carpentry joins & molding where they should have masked off before painting rather than "cutting in."

It's, like, schedule the open house 15 minutes later, guys, and DO IT RIGHT. I know they want to create drama & pressure, but your average viewer should not be able to pick up on gloppy paint spots.

It's back:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare-...30754671QQrdZ1

Judging from feedback, this appears to be the 2nd trailer in as many months with the same problem of the buyer backing out without allegedly seeing it.

I'm going to have a Globetrotter up on eBay soon, I hope, and I just dread the whole process. Of course, my '64 isn't in pieces in the driveway either.

Hey Kid, why not list the GT here on this site? You can get a fair price for it without all of the hassels. Even for a flea maket, Ebay can get pretty smarmy at times.

Well, I probably will, except this is a trailer that I haven't worked over myself so can't vouch for every rivet & piece of plumbing. And I'm a bad seller because I CAN'T HELP MYSELF, danged if I don't point out every little thing that I had HOPED to do to it. So I thought I might be more comfortable having an objective expert sell it. I'm sure it'll get posted in classifieds too.

It's just a Globetrotter. They're still pretty easy to find.

The heck with the jeans!!

Look at the nice fit of her shirt!

I believe her to be a mannequin, thus explaining the bigger than life proportions!

Hey !!!!

I think that is my mom! We were separated at birth due to some sloppy record keeping at the hospital. We both have the same bad skin problem that makes us look like a mannequin. It's hard growing up with issues like this without you guys making fun of our afflictions. Next will come the poor trailer trash comments and the laughing behind our backs. Shame on you!

Check out this 63 GT!

It may not be the fugliest, but this one needs a total rebuild from ground up!
Seller claims "Unit has no floor rot or interior water damage that the owner is aware of" Check out this picture of the bottom, look at the weld repair and the plywood above it! He must be blind!

I like the sleeping arangement.
Quote:
In its current configuration, two can sleep on the middle couch, two on the floor, and one on the counter-top bunk-bed style.
In my Trade Wind I can sleep two on each sofa/bed, one in the shower, one in the closet, two on the stove/sink/counter and 4 on the floor. It sleeps 12!

Don't forget the....

Hey!!!

Let's not be so hasty and cut this guy to quick! He might be onto something...

He forgot the handy 'under trailer' space that can sleep "lots" in comfort if they can dodge the stabilzers and tongue jack.....

And there is the wardrobe, aka "Little People" bedroom, if you are doing the circus circuit.

There is also the handy "under TV" space which is oft under-utilized.....

MAN! So much bedroom space that I have overlooked....

Criminy!! I have room for 30+ if properly stacked!

Axel - tongue planted firmly in cheek.

It didn't sell for $3200 last time so now you can "Buy It Now" for only $5K
