Hard to put a price on a trailer without looking at it. The quality of the repair and the status of the title are two major concerns. A major repair will affect the value of the trailer. The fact that many of the panels were replaced with Olympic rivets (my assumption) and not bucked rivets would bring down the value, in my opinion.

Have you looked at similar trailers and compared prices? Only you can decide what is a good deal.

Check out RVTrader in the US. Prices are about what the owner is asking, in the 45-48K USD range. Only negative to the purchase would possibly be the title with the repair noted on it, and as long as the title dosen't read "salvage" there should be no problem. If you can, get copies of the repair work order, so if you decide to sell you can show buyers what sas repaired, and by whom. JMHO

I would look for a 15pct savings due to the “story” but if repaired correctly, it’s only hail not collision or flooding.

On the plus side, if the repair was done properly, and cost may indicate it was, it stands a good chance of being sealed and more watertight than a factory model.

The value is diminished based on the quantity and quality of repairs. Recent appraisals of trailers with major repairs have impaired the value by 10%- 15% assuming the quality of repairs meets industry standards. In this case it is important to know whether or not the interior skin was removed and Buck rivits were used in the repair.
