David Winick 75th value
Hi, I have a 2007 David Winick 75th airstream that I bought new. Due to some life changes, I may be looking to sell it soon. It has been stored indoors since it was delivered to my home, and it has never even been traveled with. Im wondering what it may be worth, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
-Tim

A new 2015 Flying Cloud 19' is $58K, so I would value it at least for $68K.
It's one of a kind and no more to be found. If your's is mostly unused, it could be worth much more...

Basically, it's worth what you can get out of it. Start high, be prepared to come down when you have no bites.

Special editions are valuable to some and of no value to others. Never used is also hard to assess.
The advice to "start high and come down" may be the best. And that would only work in a posting place such as Airstream Forums Classified where you will find the most knowledgable buyers who know what this "special edition" is. I doubt that hardly anyone looking at Craigs List, or your local Pennysaver ad paper would know anything about them.

Finding a buyer with whom you agree may take quite some time the higher you set the listing price so it depends on how fast you'd like to sell it.
Though nice, the Winnick Anniversary model does not inspire me to consider a unduly premium price but there may be many others who may feel compelled by new "old" stock without a renown provenance. Back in Nov. 2013, Sotheby's auctioned off a Wally Byam 16' Sport for #365,000. That one-of-one unit was designed by Sir Jonathan Ive, Apple's Design Chief, for Bono's HIV charity event RED which could mean there's a monied buyer waiting for your virgin Winnick.
FYI, your short description of ownership conditions may raise concerns about replacement tires, batteries, et al. Be sure to highlight all the maintenance work you did annually to preserve the unit.

Tim, I don't know if you're still following this thread, as your original post last October is still showing as your only post... but, FWIW, another of the 75 David Winick units produced in 2007 sold just over a week ago on eBay for $48,401.50 - the dealer is about an hour from us here in AZ, and is where we bought our 19' 2006 last June (BTW, many of her vintage units are purchased by overseas buyers - she is a very reputable dealer, and all her units are sold on eBay). Here's a link to David Winick 75th Anniversary unit she sold (click on the image in the ad to see all interior and exterior photos):

Hope this helps,
Pat

Looks like the OP has moved on after not hearing what he expected.

It's a pretty trailer, but I think the dark colors would get to me after a while for actual camping.
I saw that sale and was surprised. The DWR 16' were/are commanding a 10k or so premium over comparable used for a while.
