Could someone identify the year of this?

My daughter is in charge of her father's estate, he passed away last August, she is just 28 and he was 45 and she never knew him until the last year of his life. One of his belongs was this airstream. We are still trying to obtain the keys so we can haul it to our acreage. I always had an obsession with these and it is strange now that by chance my daughter was left with one and has said I could have it (which of course I will buy from her). Thank you for any help or tips or ideas on the year or anything you can see by looking at it. Click image for larger version

It appears to be an early 70s unit. The attached plate next to the door has the VIN which will identify the trailer. Post the number here and someone will break down the details.

Sorry for your loss.

As Richard mentioned - it looks like a 70's 'something' - probably in the 26-30' range which would make it a Tradewind, Overlander or Sovereign. The VIN Number on the plate next to the door will help ID it better. In the meantime, you can peruse the Vintage Airstream Photo Archives to see what it might look like inside. Good luck finding the keys...

Looks like the trailer has a VIN plate on the front street side.

It looks like an Overlander International - 27’ long. It’s missing the door to the underbed storage compartment on the street side. It’s not hinged; it hooks on and is then latched. Hopefully it’s not far away.

Early 70s for sure. As was already mentioned, the VIN on the street side plate under the window will tell us for sure.

Thank you everyone for your help. Once we can get to it we will get the VIN #. What a great group!

Looks like a twin to my 76 Sovereign 31 rear twin but sign is covering where bedroom window would. Great unit under 7000 lbs.

I'm not familiar with the laws in your state. You may need to locate the title of ownership for the Airstream if you plan on getting registration plates and traveling with it. That could be easy or a nightmare. The title would tell you the exact year and model. Best of luck.
