Hi my daughter and I Put a deposit at Mt Comfort in Indiana on a 99 Cutter 34 that's getting inspected tomorrow..parking brake not working..smell exhaust in cabin while driving...leak under bathroom sink..mold..could it be hot water heater issues?..any advice on this model / year?

On any RV that age it’s reasonable to expect to have to replace all the appliances.

Water intrusion is the big problem. A moisture meter and strong flashlight good tools. Ck around toilet and front door as well.

Rotted floors can be repaired, but it gets expensive in a hurry unless DIY.

Mohos are a good deal more expensive to own and operate than a tow vehicle and travel trailer. It’s msinly labor as access is more difficult. With that understood, be patient. Keep records. Ask for recommendations of service shops or mobile techs.

Gas or diesel?

If gas the 454 engine is common to blow exhaust manifold gaskets. If not that a general exhaust leak.

Like above said take a flashlight and ice pick to inspect the floor around an area you suspect a water leak.

The emergency brake is likely just a rust issue of the cable. Inspect from below while someone applies the brake.
