AS Appraisal

I just spent $30k rebuiding a 1968 28ft. Ambassador. Reworked from the ground up. I would like to insure it for what I've got into it but was told I need a professional appraisal of the unit to insure it for that much. I can't find an appraiser locally ( Livingston, Montana ) and would like some help trying to find an appraiser within reasonable distance to where I live. Any suggestions?

Check with Silverpal or Silverpal2

Jim Polk appraised our 68. He is located in Ojai, CA but will know how to get your rig appraised......if you need his info, pm me. paula

told by WHO/M ?

this largely depends on WHICH insurance company or WHO the agent be...

many have been able to use their resto' materials/costs list for justification of value and others have used appraisals.

other the agent just 'agrees' with your estimate (maybe some comparable'z are used...)

several threads on this, search 'progressive' or agreed value in the insurance/dollar/cents forums...

or in the titles sections.

or post WHAT insurance company u are considering and folks will jump in...

cheers

Jim Polk is a streamer and did my estimate. His estimate is quite detailed including a detailed description of the condition, repairs and renovation of the trailer and a market search for comparable Airstreams.
