Adding Solar

We have a Bambi 2020 19cb. We are also considering adding the Airstream solar package. If, in the future, we consider selling/trading it, will that addition add to the value of the unit?

The factory system? Not really. You’ll get a little bit of marketing out of it on resale but not substantial $$ value-add.

Having recently sold a trailer, I was surprised to find that most buyers had little to no interest in solar.

It may add value in the eyes of some buyers, but many may not be interested.

Your definitely going to want solar to power the compressor fridge. We sell all Bambi’s with solar panels and the majority of other models.

I would add or not if it has value to you. Not resale.

Initially solar had value to me because it gave more flexibility and I didn’t have to worry about storage. Batteries were kept topped off.

We started more off grid, down the lithium and solar rabbit hole. [emoji846]

Notice, no mention of 'factory' 🥴
Add it later if you feel you need it, much more cost effective.
If you have the room in the TV to carry it, a Zamp Portable Panel,(180w plus), would work well, we use 2-180w.
