I saw an ad for a 73 Argosy, model not stated in ad. Is this a desirable unit? The pics show a trailer about 25' or so. Outside looked average. No pics of inside. I'll try to go see it today.
Argosys are great trailers; however, condition is just as important in them as in any Airstream. They are lighter and not as expensively made but have those cool rap-around windows. They are also easier to work on from our experience. Check out all the usual suspects as you would with any trailer. Remember most everything can be fixed and you can repaint these trailers too.
Hello .. Like Juel said .. just check it out OR if you are up to it.. This is what can be done, even if an ugly duckling like our Argosy was advertised as... see Costalotta start to finish... Good Luck.

I looked at the Argosy 26 footer yesterday. The interior was original and in pretty good shape. The outside was a mess, but could be worked with. Six months ago, I probably would have bought it. Now I have my own AS project as well as other major home projects. At $1000 it was a good bargain. Another guy showed up while I was there. He may have bought it. If not, I told him mine may be for sale.
